1. Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed form of your password. We also store the HTML content of websites you generate and basic usage logs (page visits, generation events) to operate and improve the service. We do not collect payment card numbers — those are handled directly by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate SlideForge: authenticating your sessions, sending transactional emails (verification codes, billing receipts), enforcing generation quotas, and diagnosing errors. We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising.

3. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is purged within 30 days. Generated site HTML is stored until you delete the individual site or close your account. Anonymised aggregate logs may be retained indefinitely.

4. Third-Party Services

SlideForge relies on the following sub-processors: OpenAI to generate site HTML from your prompt; Stripe to process subscription payments; and Neon for managed PostgreSQL database hosting. Each sub-processor has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed to them.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing legal@slideforge.ai. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Cookies

We set a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Disabling cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.
